This is the Game Configuration Screen.  From here you can change many of the game's characteristics, changing the game to suit you and your machine.  The options are:

Here you can change the bike control assignments or set up joystick and mouse control.

Here you have a change to change your team

From here you can access the name entry screen.

Here you can change the various in-game volume levels.

Graphics

Here you can change various game detail levels to improve the games performance.
